Because it's arguably the closest to the authentic Big Band sound you'll hear without going back 60 years in a time machine and continuing through to today. The sounds of Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and all the other great bands ....un-manipulated, un-synthesized, and LIVE!

You can also listen to just the charts you want to hear by clicking on "Title" and/or the soloist's name or arranger. On the bottom of each page there is a slider to control the volume.
